It’s a pretty stout frame! The motor, tranny, tease and body weighed in at 2920lbs. Had some rust but I finished knocking all that off and hopefully Friday I’m going to power wash it and coat it!

Do you sand blast that first? My buddy has a paint/coatings shop. They put stuff like that on a spit ... Spin it around ... and take it down to metal before painting.

Some cool pix on their facebook page if you like that kinda thing

For a full restore I’d go that route but it’s not bad enough where I’d need to. Knocking the scale off with a need gun power washing it and then coatingit with a spray or paint on will do the job for what I’m needing. Want to get it running first before I would commit to that much work. Would have to remove and replace all the bearing a and lines but I could do that at a later date. Only has 167000mi on it so it ain’t bad.
