2nd row Captain chairs to bench

I have a 2020 max platinum with captains chairs, I’m going to be converting it to the bench. I know a few people have done this. I have everything I need minus the spacers, does anyone happen to know the part number for them? Thanks in advanced!

What spacers? I recently completed this on our Max platinum and the only thing I needed were additional front and rear seat bolts to secure the middle seat to the floor. Under the carpet, there was tape over the front and placeholder bolts at the rear, but they were not long enough to use with the seat installed.
No spacers needed... The slide action is a little tight but I chalk that up to having used a limited middle bench seat which may be wider than the Platinum middle bench seat since the Platinum chairs are noticeably wider. Can you clarify?

I have not begun to tackle this so I’m just going off what other have done. So you were able to simply cut the holes in the carpet and bolt the middle seat in?

I purchased a platinum middle seat so I’ll see if it’s any different.

Yes to just cutting the carpet. That's probably the only part of this job that's "point of no return"
I used the foam peice under the carpet as a stencil and marked my "cut here" holes with chalk.

No to connecting to trunk fold release. I was motivated to finish the job in under 2hrs and didn't have this part ready. It wasn't a priority for me but I may complete it later as needed.

You can just remove the center jump seat (four floor bolts) and you'll have captains but without the armrests. You'll need floor mats or a Navi center console to cover the holes leftover.

Hey! We just did this on our 21' xlt but we're having a hard time using the slide and tilt function because the seats are rubbing and getting caught. Any insight?

Have you finished this? We are having trouble using the slide and tilt feature with ours. We added the same trim level bench seat.

That's what I was planning on doing, but my wife wants the armrests and nothing in the center.

As for your issue. If you only bought the center seat vs the whole bench you need to change the plastic trim on your captains chairs.

The “AN” is the color code for black.
The plastic is a lot thinner than the captains chairs. Should fix your issue.

Nice! Thanks for the upload, the pictures of the foam pad are extremely helpful. I was very curious as to what was under there. This will be a big help when I tackle this.
