Always amazes me how previous owners loose 2nd keys. That and remote controls from TV's and Stereo receivers. Try Ace hardware. They made a duplicate chip key for me about 4 years back. Now mine is 2000, don't know on the newer ones, but worth a try. Cost was around $75.00, if memory serves me.

Can I use Forscan to make a new master key? I just bought a 2015 Expy and only received one key. Can anyone help me or am I stuck with the dealer?

Yes you can. The instructions are on the FORScan website. FROScan.org How to page.

FORScan How to:

How to check blank PATS key
https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1581
How to program PATS using FORScan
https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=839

I have not performed those yet. I bought a 2107 Expy that only has one key and have ordered two blanks. With three, if I lose one, I can use the other two to program a new one. But with only one, you have to go the dealer, a locksmith, or use FORScan.

The instructions say the many problems encountered mainly come for poor quality key blanks. Make sure you purchase keys that are guaranteed to program.

My OHP ELMcongfig (OBDII to USB device) arrived today and I retrieved the Keyless entry code and backed-up all the AS_BUILTS. I intend to install the Trailer Brake Controller. The FORScan is a great tool.

And the questions remain, does anyone have a valid spreadsheet...multiple threads but no one seems to be able to post anything that is valuable. Does anyone have a contact or friend that is a dealer employed mechanic or service tech? Seems to be the only way to get the info...

I had no time for further testing.
I disabled the DRL and the TPMS only.

Additionally I tried to activate the bambi mode, but didn't find the right settings, for now.
The next weeks I'm still busy, so I hope to give it a second try in 1 or 2 months.

If anybody needs some hints on DRL or TPMS just ask.

Depends on your model year.
Here is the most up to date sheet for 2015+

The thread is about 80 pages now and quite valuable. Everything in the sheet has been tested and verified by multiple members.

The problem is, that the first 3rd gen of the Expedition does not have so many modules to program.
And the known codes changed with the my 2013.

Does anyone have a copy of the spreadsheet with functioning links? I got big new tires and want to correct the speedo, but the link I have in my spreadsheet for the correction calculation is dead. Or does anyone know how to make the calculation, I don’t mind crunching numbers. Thanks! @LokiWolf

I will see if I can find it when I get back to my computer later and post it up.

I have a 2013 Expedition King Ranch, and I've found out that some codes from other vehicles work on my Expedition. For instance, I believe it was the code from a Mustang that worked to turn off the TPMS light and message in the dash. A lot of the 2015+ codes are invalid because the 2013 doesn't even have some of the modules that are listed in the spreadsheets for the 2015+. It's trial and error, so make sure you save your original data in case you need to revert back to it.

3rd gens can be modified with FORscan too, not just 15+, so I figured i’d make a thread for it for anyone to post their findings.

I unfortunately don’t have any modifications handy, but I am looking for quite a few.

My biggest two I am looking for:
-Disable hyper flash (Want LED blinkers on my Limited, don’t want those 1000 degree resistors. For some reason, Limiteds blinkers are controlled through the computer, not a flasher relay)

-Disable TPMS (Getting a fault once in awhile when I drive more than 30ish miles. I check my tire pressure religiously)
