Hi all first post.
My wifes 2014 Ford Expedition XLT has a strange issue that I can't figure out. I also took it to two different master mechanics that also could not find the problem.
Symptoms:
You start the truck and 2 min into the drive the 4X2 light will come on and the AC compressor will stop working but the fan will blow air. After a min the light will go out and the AC will start to work again. This will happen a few times then it will stop for the rest of our trip.
When I try to connect my OBDII code readers I get an ELM not found error and the dash will cycle through AdvanceTrack error, wrench, blank then a few other lights will blink and it will all start over but no ability to ready the computer.
I have checked every connector in the harness, every fuse and replaced a few relays just in case.
When the mechanic scans the computer they have only seen a can not connect to the ECU error was captured but no other findings.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.
