1998 Expy 4x4. Just finished putting the rear differential back together. Drove great. Then I decided to turn on the 4x4. Turn it on 4x4 low. Indicator told me it was in 4x4 low range. Good. So now I try to turn it back to 2wd... put it back inside neutral, hold I'm brake, and turn to 2wd. Light goes out from the 4x4 indicator. But I'm still stuck in 4wd. I tried turning it back to 4wd and it's not even showing up on my dash now.... if it's not one thing, it's another... what do I do?
