That’s a lot of wheelbase man.......I like my Expy EL for the relatively short 131” wheelbase. It’s easy for parking and turns.

Once you get into crew cab pickups with 145-160” wheelbases it starts getting big to maneuver.

You've not seen turn radius until you've seen Tim's 6.5 door long bed Super Duty. Gives whole new meaning to country mile.

excursions is 35 ft 10 in bumper-to-bumper and the other one is 40. Since they are standard Truck design they have a terrible turning radius. You often have to back into spots that she simply can't turn into because of the swing. Like driveways and such. I used to have a 40-foot MCI bus which is actually 39 ft 4-6in and it would outdrive the Excursion any day of the week. You sat about 3 ft in front of the tires on one of the Diesel Pusher buses and that steering wheel just turns and turns and turns.

It's the 3/4 ton suspension. My F350 has better turning radius than my moms old excursion. The excursion had all the same handling issues as my brothers f250.

To go in the other direction, I'd love a 2 door Expy. A la full sized Bronco.
