Plavin, I have installed aftermarket HIDs in a few different vehicles (last being a 2010 Fusion with 6000K bulbs in the low and fogs). The big thing is you want 35 watt HIDs, NOT 50/55W HIDs!!!!!!!! 35W HIDs are legal, the 50/55W HIDs are not. Secondly, halogen bulbs output about 1300 lumen of light. 35W HID bulbs (at 6000K) output 3100 lumen of light. That is nearly 3 times the light. The 50 watt HIDs output around 4400 lumen of light. So, if you get pissed at people driving around with their brights on, you are going to be hitting people with essentially 2 sets of high beams if you go with the 50 watt HIDs all the time.

With that being said, you will also need to look into a wiring harness for the low beams. On your truck, the headlight switch handles the full bulb current. As you will find from talking with other members, the headlight switch in our truck is only capable of handling about 10 amps (the current draw from the factory halogen bulbs). Each HID bulb pulls 15-20 amps for the first few seconds. So, when you flick on your headlights, you can be pulling up to 40 amps through the factory wiring. It is not designed to handle this large of a load. Over time, it WILL fail on you. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but from what I have seen, within a year, most people have problems. You will need to use a 30 or 40 amp relay to power the HID ballast boxes to ensure long life of the HIDs. Keep in mind that if HIDs are starved of voltage, they will fail sooner too. So, by using a relay setup, you can properly gauge the wiring to minimize the voltage drop (especially during start up) due to the large current draw. If you need more info, let me know.

As for the fogs, those are already controlled via a relay. So, you just need to wire them up to the factory wiring and you should be golden.
