Just looking for other thoughts from everyone on this. I am looking to swap my setup over to the Ford Racing PI intake and head setup along with BBK headers, upgraded spark plug wires and cold air intake. I am locked into $2200 from my wife for the build. It would be great to go with the patriot heads but cost goes up due to needing better cams.

How many others have done this swap and what performance increase did you see? My current setup, due to it being 98 npi heads and intake, is only around the 215 hp mark (minus the borla muffler and modded airbox). This setup is supposed to increase by 45-50 hp. Thoughts?

Here's my $0.02. You will not go wrong doing the PI swap. I do believe you'll gain that much HP and you should see an increase in torque. You'll probably feel the torque more than the HP. You might even gain better MPG from the engine not having to work so hard breathing. But that all depends on your right foot. Good luck!
