99 expedition l outside mirror

again, my driver mirror glass and backing plate have been stolen.
Does anyone know who has backing plates? Ford says i need to purchase the whole mirror assembly, over $500.
Please help.

You just might be in luck!

I have a spare driver's side mirror assembly from a 2000 XLT. It is power and heated. The housing is all black plastic. The part where the housing connects to the arm is broken, but everything else on it is perfect.
