99 expedition no power and popping in the intake after new timing chains

We have a 1999 expedition 4.6 liter that we just changed the timing chains, tensioner, and guide. Now it has no power and popping in the intake. I'm at my ends with it. I live 4 miles out of town and have 5 kids it is my only vehicle and I can't afford to take it to a shop. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Who installed the timing chains? If not done correctly, it can cause huge problems.
It's also possible that not everything was hooked up correctly.
