ABS + Traction Control warning lights = Headache!!!

Hi .. Just wondering if anyone has any helpful info as to why the ABS light and traction control light are on ..I'm not sure if the problem is connected or not but I believe they came on around the same time a few weeks ago .. I also noticed the traction control button was really hard to press in so i removed it and cleaned it up and now I can freely press it but I doesn't seem to do anything other then light up OFF whether it's pressed on not .. Thx!

It always helps to know the year model engine and any other information you can give so we know what expedition you are asking questions about.
