compressor is shot and needs to come out but ive only been able to find info on 4x4 vehicles and from what I see it is harder to remove on a 2wd, any info on how to remove will be appreciated.

Assuming the system is completely discharged,

turn the wheels to full lock right then shut off the engine, this will give you access to the manifold hose bolt
remove the bolt holding the manifold hoses on, plug or block the hoses off to prevent excessive atmosphere/debri entering the system, there are three or four bolts holding the compressor to the engine, remove the serp belt and then remove the compressor being careful not to tip it too far and catch any oil that may leak out, this oil needs to be replaced when you recharge the system.

you will have to snake it out around the steering linkage. I can't remember if I partly removed my steering linkage or not. it's been 1 1/2 years ago since I replaced mine, the hard part is that the compressor has some weight to it for it to be so small

if you are replacing the compressor make sure you attach the manifold hoses before you bolt down the compressor.

When it comes to removing the compressor bolts is there any certain order or anything that needs removed first because the lower rear bolt appears to only have 2inchs or so of clearance to remove a bolt that's easily 4-5 inches long

Unscrew it then remove it with the compressor.

That's the one I struggled with, just get it lose so you can run it out by hand. I don't know that it will be easy to turn though

And as for as bold order, when it comes to removal.. Hardest bolt goes out first.
