AC is blowing erratically

I've got a 2007 with the push button AC controls. The AC blows like its got a mind of its own sometimes. Everything will be normal, then all of a sudden the fan will start blowing full blast and there is no way to stop it. You can't even turn the AC off! Or sometimes, the AC gets stuck at the same fan speed...adjusting up or down on the fan button does nothing.

Has anyone had this happen? What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like a sticky steering wheel button. I've had numerous problems with those buttons on my Explorer and the Expedition. They randomly turn the stereo volume all the way up, or the fan up/down.

i am having the same problem on same vehicle, anyone find a fix for this?
