ac on max front and rear. turns off when drvr indw dwn btn pressed

so i was driving slow no other accessories on including radio. just max ac front and rear i pressed the driver window down button and the ac shut off momentarily then came right back on as the window went down. a moment later after the ac fan came back to life there was a single ding in the dash but no light. i may have a blown bulb or two in the dash so i dont know that there wouldnt have been a indicator light but i figured i toss the symtoms out there see if you guys new. i have never had an issue with charge before but that doesnt mean it wasnt the alternator. just trying to give info.

Keep it simple and isolate the problem. The one thing that both circuits have in common (for a 99 model) other than the battery connection is the G200 ground which is behind the pass kick panel. The book shows two sets at that location. I would grab an electrical book for your model year and a test light to make it easier then follow the path.....
