Just curious on how these later model Expeditions are performing with the AC.
(My 2000 Expedition would deliver a temp in the 30s on the driver door duct)
So Far my 2011 XLT with Climate control is putting out about 45 Degrees at the drivers door on a very hot day like in the upper 90s. This is pretty good of course. (Takes a while to get there) Would not mind getting it a little lower. But Overall it seems to work pretty good.
I did add a 3 ounce can of Maxi-Cool. Did not seem to make any difference. Maybe gets cool a little faster. I always like to go a little heavy on the charge to get max performance out of the unit. But I know you have to be careful not to get too much R134 or it will start getting warmer. So I am concerned that adding a second can could be too much even with these systems being large ones with rear air.
I have also heard from more than one Ford factory worker that they charge all cars and trucks on the light side to save money.
So what has been the experience of others with their Expeditions ????
