Food for thought, modern home refrigerator/freezers use r134a, same as your car. They get well below 0 in the freezer, why switch to a different refrigerant if your system isn't performing well? It isn't the refrigerant that is your problem.

Yes AC PRO is the same refrigerant as the coolant already in the system. I just want to add a little more to see if it will cool better.

adding more 134 to a system that is full already will make it get warmer. thier is a balance bettwen low and overcharge. . try cleaning the condenser first

The AC PRO has a meter on it that tells you if its full or not. That way you can add a little or alot to get it up to factory specs or if its full you don't add any.

the meter is a pressure guage there is a lot more than just "adding" freon to the system like how to read the system. if its hot outside you will get high pressures leading you to think that its overcharged. the best time to do this is the AM when it cool outside
let the car run on max A/C for 10 min then do your thing
