I have the BLIS system in '17 and find it almost useless. I light will illuminate in the side mirror indicating a car is in your blind spot. Unfortunately I have a lot of false positives in winter thanks to the large snow banks along the roads. Even in summer I get false positives for one reason or another. I don't rely on it and do shoulder checks regardless of what the light says.
@jkayca, I know this post is old but I just recently added BLIS to my 16 Limited EL and since a retrofit I'm wondering if I got the programming right on this thing based on how the BLIS behavior. I get a lot, I mean ridiculous amount of False positives. And it lights up for park cars and inbound traffic in narrow 2-way roads.
Wanted to confirm if that's normal behavior for the Expedition Blindspot or do i need to look over the programming again ?
Thanks
