Hi,

I originally had a problem with the plastic gear on a Gen 1 brake pedal and repaired it by installing a new pedal not knowing there is a repair kit for it: 6L3Z-2237-A.

I now have the same issue with the accelerator pedal and have a spare working brake pedal.
My plan is to remove the driven gear from the brake pedal and install it on the accelerator.

Does anybody have the instructions that come with the kit to install the new driven gear?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Regards,
Roger

I think so. I just found a used accelerator pedal on Ebay.

Once I get the pedal I will continue to try to take the gear out of the metal housing. One end is really easy to take apart, but taking the gear out of the welded metal housing is the challenge. Thanks for responding.
