Alrighty....took everyone's suggestion and got my HID lights put in today. You were all right...very simple!

Now...the low beams are pointing way too high. How the heck do you adjust the darn headlights?

I could bring them in a bit as well.

So...how do ya adjust them up/down and side/side?

Thanks...you guys are great!!!!

Yea, if you have the 1st or 3rd gen Expy that require a bi-xenon kit, you also have to make sure that your wiring isn't backwards (some kits are wired weird), and has the high beams on instead of the low beams.

If it's a 2nd gen style, like the one in Expedition's signature ^, there is a horzonatal bolt that sticks out about 3 inches around the back of the low beam reflector. If you put a small socket on it and turn, it moves the low and high beam without moving the whole assembly.

Sorry...it is a 2010.

It's not the high beams I don't think becasue I got a low beam kit only.

They are way too high when I have them on low beam. There is no light when I put them on high beam.

It should be in your manual. I tried d/l the manual from the fleet Ford site, but I think it's down?

Nope...it's definately shining upwards.

Does anyone have a link to a copy of the owner's manual?

How about the service/repair manual?

Thanks!

Is the bulb properly seated because it should be the same focal position as the old bulb but brighter if it in the original housing. Maybe one of the clip on the bulb is in the wrong position, the bulb must fit flush all the way around.

Do you have any pics of the kit installed? Wanna get some for mine as well and would like to see what it looks like.

Thanks!
