Any one got a set of the black housing after market headlights that look like the oem limited ones off eBay ?
Reason I ask because I did and looks great. But the problem is the hi beam sucks. You can’t adjust them either. The low beam is actually higher than the hi beam.
I have concluded that the cone over the bulb inside the housing is not centered properly.
So I’m returning them. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue IMG_5988.JPGIMG_5567.JPG

I have the same ones and mine were fine. However I am doing a retrofit on them so even if they weren't I wouldn't have cared.

Converting them to projector?
How did you separate the Lens from the housing? What will you use to put it back?

Put them in the oven. 240° for 10 minutes and they open right up. You may even be able to correct these if you don't feel like returning them. Or if your really feeling crazy open up these and your oem lens then just swap the reflector over to the aftermarket housing. As for sealing them back up I prefer retro rubber. In some cases you can even just press the lens back together after reheating and the original sealant will do it.

I purchased my EXP from CarMax they painted the car and put new headlights on it with your aftermarket when I got it the lights were reversed I actually had to splice the wires and change the high beam and low beam wires over to each other now I have great headlights my high beams work perfectly and they're all adjustable

Yeah the anti glare shield may not be aligned correctly. If you remove the rubber on the back of the housing you can probably tell if its not seated correctly because they screw in and mount from the back. Just be careful because if you unscrew it and it falls in you need to open the lens to put it back on
