I recently bought a Belkin Bluetooth kit for my 08 Limited mainly to stream music to the factory navi head unit but am not really satisfied with its performace and look. I'd like something that is completely hidden if possible and allows for use of my steering wheel controls and is able to connect multiple devices if possible.
Any ideas?

Go aftermarket and buy a new head unit...built in bluetooth...all that other add-on stuff is garbage

That's the only way to get good results for bluetooth...that's like the ipod connectors that use the fm signal through the radio...garbage cuz they don't play clear...I know u already have nav and everything else...the only other thing I can think of is an ipod hookup...this is hard wired to your system...crutchfield.com has them reasonably priced and will give u everything to install it with install sheets

If you are still looking to add BT this is what I have done:
Step 1: This mod (http://www.expeditionforum.com/f45/aux-input-stock-2006-expy-nav-unit-w-o-dvd-7461/)Which is wonderful. Shout out to thevalleyboy.

Step 2 & 3: Which will be done this weekend. Add the Kenwood KOS-A300 & KCA-BT300

I already did the aux mod and have a 16 dollar bluetooth dongle. It works but not quite what I am looking for. The Kenwood setup should give me what I need.

Just noticed you have a 08 so this may not work for you. Worth a look at though.

I have been looking at the Parrot MKI 9200. It looks like a reasonable solution and all of the reviews indicate it performs very well.

Don't you just love it when someone comes on the forum and asks for help or advice and then never comes back The last time the OP was on was when he posted his question 11-28-2013, 12:48 PM
