Hello all, new guy here with a Expedition question. Hopefully somebody can help!
The problem I'm having is I recently bought a 98 Model Eddie Bauer edition Expedition with the 6 disc cd changer and rear audio controls and Mach sound system package. The radio that came with it was missing, so I bought a aftermarket Jenson CD/DVD player for it. Well the install went ok. I wasn't getting any power to the 12 Volt Constant wire. I checked all the fuses and traced all the power wire down looking for any signs of damage or what not. I couldn't find anything! I eventually hooked it up by running my own power supply to it and it worked like a champ. But I noticed I'm not getting any sound from the rear speakers and the rear door ones sound like they are only turned up about halfway. Almost like the it would have a factory amp installed into it and its not kicking on. Has anyone had this problem before? I'm going to continue researching the site and reading up on common problems but if anyone has any suggestions I'll greatly appreciate hearing them. Thank you guys and I'm looking forward to hopefully becoming a helpful member myself.
