I use motor craft or wix filters only. And wix is my first choice.

I run WIX filters, but I also buy more WIX filters than anybody in the state so I get a hell of a deal. The joys of heavy equipment.

Had bad luck with every K&N filter I've ever used - car, truck or motorcycle; not worth the money and hassle IMHO. I change my air filter every April - that's about 10-12K miles, max. I use whatever is on sale; generally find one on ebay for $10-$12 - in fact, I just ordered this year's replacement. I don't drive too many dusty roads and, once the salt/sand dust on the roads gets washed away, things are pretty clean around here.

Almost every vehicle and engine I own has a K&N air filter. If K&N makes an OEM replacement, then that is what it gets. Paper filters are trash.
