Hey y'all got a quick question with the E.B air suspension system. I noticed that it sits a bit Lower than the standard XLT models when off and I am going to change my trans fluid and filter here soon. Is there a way I can force the suspension to max height? Putting it in 4 low will do it but if im reading the manual correctly it will only maintain that height for 40 mins after key off and I don't feel like being under the truck when that happens.

Two things

1. Alter the mounting location of the ride height sensor

2. Coil spring conversion

#2 is the best answer

Put jackstands underneath the frame and change it with those under there. I would jack it up and then rest it on the stands, instead of just having them sit there with the truck floating above them.

As much as I do recommend the coil swap, if the air suspension still works, no sense in spending money swapping that just to do a trans fluid change.

You never get under a vehicle with air suspension without the vehicle being supported by stands or a lift. That is basic mechanics 101.
