Does the max have more legroom in the 3rd row than a standard ?
I always assumed it was just longer in back cargo area.
Interior specs are exactly the same. The rear door is longer in the Max making for a much wider opening.

I am taking a chance and ordering the 2/3rd floorliner for the Max for my standard length Expy. If it doesn't work, I'm out a little $ to return, but I figured I have nothing else to lose. Camping = sand and that is a pain in my side.

I have an interesting update on my Weathertech 2nd and 3rd row matt. Email from Weathertech...

"Randy

Unfortunately, the manufacture of the rear floor liner has been pushed back until today.

Once your item ships, Federal Express will email you a tracking number.

My apologies for the delay.

Thank you."

However, they did refund my $89.95 back to my PayPal account and are still sending via Fedex overnight delivery the matt on Monday.

Great customer service!

Please let me know if you get this as I will need to determine where I have mine shipped as I am going on vacation on Saturday 6/29 and don't want to leave with out them if I can.

I got the Fedex shipping email today. They should arrive tomorrow. Will take a picture once they are installed.

Just got my shipping email as well. Should arrive by Friday. I have the standard length Expy and am taking a chance ordering the 2nd/3rd row mat to see if it will fit both models.

Weathertech 2nd/3rd row combo all weather matts are in stock. I didn't get the email notification, but called them and they stated they were in stock. Their website also now show this piece.

For those of you with the standard length, the 2nd/3rd floor liner (with bucket seats) that only shows up on the Max config does indeed fit perfectly in the standard as well. Installed and happy!

I have Weather Tech in all 3-rows plus the cargo mat. The 3rd-row mat had tabs that extend under the second row but I wish it locked into place like rows 1 & 2. I also wish the cargo mat would lock into place. Overall, I am very pleased with them.

Spray the back of the cargo mat with plasti-dip! Had the exact same problem with the rubber mat for our mini-van and it worked perfect. Haven't done it yet to the mat for the Expedition because I've just been busy with other stuff, but "soon".

Does the plastic dip come off at all? This sounds like a great idea.

How does the 2nd/3rd row floor liner install? Since WeatherTech describes it as one-piece, and only shows a "representative" photo on their website, with no installation instructions, I contacted their customer service department to ask about installation. The lady I reached told me that you have to remove the 2nd row bucket seats. That's not an easy task, so it doesn't sound right that WeatherTech would design their floor liner to require removal of bolt-down seats, but she was insistent.
Would you mind posting a photo of the installed liner?

No need to remove the seats. Think of it like an “H” with the seats being “:”. I tucked the back edge of it under the corners in front of the plastic covers on the middle row and the four plastic covers for the rear seat to keep in in place when tilting/sliding the seats for ingress/egress.

I post some pictures tonight when I get home.

Just ordered my Weathertech mats. 1st row and the 2nd/3rd row 1 piece. Will have to remove the 2nd row bucket seats to get it in, but I think it will be well worth the hassle. $200
