Anti theft wheel locks 2019 Expedition

Hello,

I recently bought a 2019 XLT and had the dealer order the wheel locks. They are at least a quarter or more inch longer than the stock ones and look kinda ugly sticking out. Has anyone bought these?
When googling these the first video that comes up shows how to defeat them in about 15 seconds so maybe they aren’t worth the money anyway?

Those special lug nuts that require a special key socket to remove are a terrible idea in my opinion. I got stranded once since I couldn't change a tire even though I had the special socket key. The amount of engagement of the key socket into the special lug nut is usually minimal, and if your wheels studs rust at all, good luck getting them off. If someone really wants to steal my wheels, that's what insurance is for.

My dealer offered them to me when I took delivery. The way it sounded, I was under the impression they were throwing them in. Later when I looked at my invoice I saw they were $75. (Yes, I know, it's $75 on an $80k vehicle. And yes, I know, I should have looked more closely at the invoice before I stroked my check...I will own both of those things.)

But man it pissed me off. Especially as you can buy a set on amazon for $20.
