Ive been searching online, youtubing, went through 20 pages on here looking for a 5.4L Expy with performance, has no one done this? I can only find Mustangs and a few Raptors with the sexy lobe sound, the Expedition would sound beast with some cams

I have mild comp cams in mine.

102500 - Xtreme Energy

While it may sound sexy most "performance" cams with the lope your looking for will trade off low end torque for upper end horsepower. This is counter productive in a heavy suv. At minimum you would need higher stall converter, lower gear ratio.... probably 4.10's or better with stock size tires and the ecu reprogrammed to make use of the higher rpms. Then there is the question wether or not the heads, intake and exhaust breath well enough to take advantage.

Very well put!

The only upgrade in the camshaft dept i would consider is an upgrade to a PI Cam if you have 97 or 98 first gen expy with Non-PI cams.
