Thank you brother, looked up bill Fink and they had what i was looking for in stock ready to go. A 2022 Max King Ranch. They had it in green which i like (wife didnt) but dont have to wait to special order one and they took $1000 of MSRP without me asking. Put a deposit down and should have it next week. Just have to drive from GA to TX.

How much was the discount may I ask?
DISCOUNT?

Bill Fink offered me $1000 off the MSRP which was also list price. Im sure their may be better deals out there but to get a vehicle under MSRP in the 2022 shortage is rare.
Wife will be picking her new KR up on Saturday.

They took $2150 off MSRP on my 2022 Platinum Max and delivered it free 7 hours away. Plus, it was built before the $1000 price increase on the base model. It really was a great deal. Its black with black inside. I ordered one the end of Feb. that was Stone Blue with Light Sandstone interior, but Ford keep taking things off so that's when I started looking for ones on the dealer lots. They wanted 4000 to 8000 OVER MRSP. I will always buy from Bill Fink Ford.
By the way, I ordered 2021 Ford Expedition Max Floorliner HP Complete Set (1st Row, Two Piece - 2nd & 3rd Row) and they fit perfect.

I ordered a Platinum Max the day order banks opened, and got a shipping notice email today. Ford says 6-7 weeks shipping. Multi Contour Seats is missing from the window sticker. But I don’t care because last week I bailed and bought a ‘22 Platinum Max from a nearby dealer. I love it!

It multi-contour seats is missing from the window sticker then that means you actually have it from what I have seen in other forums. Only if you see a -$$$ amount credit on the window sticker does it mean they were removed.

Thanks for the info! Are those Weathertech HP mats (rubber?) any better quality than their standard Floor Liners? Their quality has really gone downhill the last several years so I’m considering alternatives.

Interesting, thanks. The car I bought shows Multicontour Seats on its window sticker, so I assumed that since the car i ordered doesn’t show it, then it’s missing. Damn. Anybody want my white Platinum Max, one week old? 800 miles. :( I kinda want the one I ordered now, Dark Matter with Carmelo interior.

Hit the button on the side of the seat and see if it comes up on the screen.

How does it drive compared to the other vehicles you had/driven?

It seems like I ask this question everytime someone buys a platinum, but only two people who bought actually put detailed(enough) write ups on their vehicles and straight ghosted the forum, and none of them were plattys. It's the same in the navigator forums as well, they will be like "I bought a nav on the lot, its great!" And then you ask questions about it...crickets.

My ‘22 Platinum drives wonderfully. The engine tuning / throttle mapping makes for smooth acceleration, unlike my Q7 (which is herky jerky). Sounds nice, too. In 2WD mode, it’s actually kind of fun to drive. Plenty of acceleration on tap ( I also own a 600 hp car so I have high standards!).

As for ride quality, I’m very pleased. Better ride than my Q7 (which greatly suffers due to stupid run flats) and not as truck-like as the 2016 Explorer I had. Yeah you heard me, it doesn’t ride much like a truck. Impressive.

Interior noise is just fine. My Q7 is seriously quiet, and I don’t find this Expy any worse.

I thought I’d hate the giant screen, but I don’t. It’s fine. The wireless CarPlay and charging are super cool; never have to plug in. One complaint is it’s difficult and time-consuming to get to the 360 camera view. So stupid. They need a button.

Overall, I’m super happy with it.

Great to hear. What year Q7 do you have? I was considering one of those.

Just to clarify a detail about the dealership mentioned earlier in this thread...it's Bill FICK Ford, not Bill FINK.
