I contacted CBI after seeing your youtube video about your bumper/tire carrier today. Seems you got yourself a one off build there. They weren't even interested in building another since they are so busy. Guess I'm going to have to steal some ideas off of it and build my own

I did the same about a month or 2 back... they had told me like $3000 with a lot of lead time

I didn't even get to asking the price. I spent a long time last night trying to find a rear bumper for my 15 EL, hell any newer Expedition and came up empty. If we had only bought a Tahoe or something...lol. Everything has to be fabricated but that's the cool side but pain in the ass to it I guess. It's something others will envy because they just can't go out and buy it. Maybe to get by for now I'll purchase the Hitchgate.

I've also thought about a hitchgate for my Second Gen but I think I'm leaning more towards having a carrier/bumper built by my fabricator... the hitchgate just seems like its weak and sits way too far away from the hatch imo

Haha, not my Expedition but I imagine he's towing WAY more weight than these trucks are rated for if he needs a hitch like that

It's a pintle hitch. Designed to give you more articulation off road. Noisy and old tech but effective.

Thats a bummer, maybe get with them in the winter, they might be not as busy
