Auto running boards damaged when SUV jacked up

Hello, 1st time posting, just wanted to send out a little FYI, All tire shops do not realize the 4 nice brackets under your vehicle are not Jack points!! Recently, I had a flat, stopped at a shop to have tire plugged, employee jacked up Expedition on bracket of running board. Currently running board will not work and dealership is telling me the running board assembly needs replacing. Does anyone know if individual parts are available? Motor is attempting to work but the boards are in a bind due to the brackets being out of wack.

You may be able to get individual parts at a junkyard, but they are few and far between. Ford (and most junkyards) only sell the entire assembly, which runs about $2K. I would demand the tire shop foot the bill and if they refuse, take them to small claims.
