Wanting to Detroit Truetracs front and rear on my 03 EB...unless someone can convince me to run A Truetrac up front and a locker in the rear. My expy is daily driven, sees road trips with the family, goes off road and hits back trails, I'm not climbing.and crawling huge rocks and shit here so I dont know if a locker is needed....but I'm open to being convinced otherwise

Anyways just to make 100% sure our axles are as follows

Front 8.8in IFS with 28 spline axles

Rear 9.75in IRS with 34 spline axles

Which means only the Detroit Truetrac for the front is this model

And our rear unit would be this one

And if you can convince me to run a locker in a daily driven expy....the locker for our rear is this one

Is this all correct or am I missing something somewhere?

Have you called and verified if this will fit the front diff? I called about putting one in my 2002 F150 in the front and they said it would not fit the front housing.

I'll need to call.but from what I'm seeing it will work for me. You being an 02 ...I'm not 100% but I think your axles are different than mine.

My expedition is a 2003 but I think the front diffs are the same on the 99-03 F150s and the expeditions up to 2006.
Let me know what you find out beccause I wouldnt mind to have one also.

The front locker will help much more than the rear, and you won't really seen any driveability issues on the street.

Kryo, what did you end up doing? Trying to make the same decision for my 04 EB at the moment.
