Back from trip

Got back a few hours ago from our trip back to Michigan and then spent the night in Cincinnati last night for court this morning about the idiot who hit my truck on the move to Tennessee...I have lost all respect for the judicial system..This idiot got the ticket for hitting me.....court was at 9am this morning and he was 45 minutes late....the prosecution and the officer who wrote the ticket were in our corner...Im in a black suit and my wife was nicely dressed....this judge and court was about PO-DUNK as a kangaroo court can be...this guy came dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt hangin out, and the female judge sided with him and dismissed the flippin ticket even knowing we traveled to be there. the judge said, because there was a difference of opinion from what lane we said we were in and this idiot said he was already in front of us...the prosecution said if you were in front of them....how did the damage get on your right rear and and their left front....I drove home so pissed....even the officer came over and said this is a joke...so 900.00 bucks of damage, hotel stay, food, gas...and then the idiot who hit us, walks out the court smiling and waves at us and says SEE Ya....all I got to say is "KARMA" it will come back, I may never know when, but it will reach up and bite this guy in the A**.....sorry for the rant....

If you file insurance on it , it won't matter. The insurance co. will assign fault where they belive it is.

Well his insurance sent me a claim number but told me since he was fighting the ticket and now that he won, wont pay anything...I have a 1000 deductible, so I will just buy the few parts I need and make it a project....Thanks...

Yeah, I was pretty hot but when life deals you lemons, you make lemonade....and Karma will come back around and I know it does, have seen happen....I just have to let go and let God.... I'm cool with it now...Like I said before I may be a chaplain, but I still am human....LOL..and it really helps to have a great bunch of guys like you all to be able to vent and share with. This is kinda like my extended family.

damn..... Judge must be a progressive... Since you look rich enough, and the guy looks poorer than you... He is entited to have you pay for everything even though it was his fault....

Thats the kind of stuff that makes people.lose faith in the judicial system and take matters into their own hands. I'm sorry you got worked over on this one but like you said, karma and now you have a little.project to keep you off the streets at night.

All the tickets I write in accidents get tossed bc I didnt witness the accident. They call it "after the fact" but in reality all the insurance compnay cares about is that the other person is listed atfault and that they got a ticket. They dont know if it gets dismissed or not.

Sol, I know, been there done that...but when the person who gets hit, the officer and the prosecutor make a case, plus video of what a A$$hole this guys was not to mention he had a driving record as long as my arm...somethings wrong...and the judge asks me have far I lived from the court...Yeah, I'm gonna drive 4.5 hours not to tell the truth...I am seriously thinking of filing a grievance against the judge for misconduct...I mean come on..telling your court clerk to check and see if you won any money on a football pool while court is in session?????? Oh and I finally decided yesterday to hand wash my truck and I thought I had a bunch of brake dust on the white letters on the left front tire...I was using bleach white scrubbin my A** off and then realized that's how far that jerk turned into my wife...one thing...his insurance company did send me a claim number, but told me they were waiting for the court date and if the ticket was dismissed they were not paying for my repairs...If I lived closer to Cinci...I would sue him in small claims if nothing more to aggravate him...
