big break kit upgrade

ok i have a 99 expo,17" factory rims and 22" summer wheels,what size rotors do you guies think will be good to fit under both rim sizes??what are some good companies to choose from and what would be a great piston/caliber upgrade??

I'm pretty positive you are not going to be able to fit larger diameter brake rotors if you continue to use those 17" wheels. With the factory 16" wheels (like I have) it is already a tight-looking fit.

With the 22" wheels I am sure you can fit something plenty larger, though.

Some companies to look at: Brembo, Baer, Wilwood...I'm sure there are others, too...

damn i need more stoppin power,living in the city u need good breaks u know,and somestimes its hard to stop lol.i mainly use the 17's for winter and keep the 22's up till summer,do you think i can run the aftermarket set the same size as the factory set and get some decent performance out of them??

im also looking for stopping power check out this website dw.brakeperformance.com there stuff is all over ebay at awesome prices but there site gives all the info and test results.... i just ordered pads and rotors $210 to my door hope this helps

When I called about these

The tech guy told me that my 16.5" wheels wouldn't clear, but a 17" would.
This is about as reasonable as the prices get for a big brake kit.

I decided that when it's time I'm just going to get some decent drilled rotors and some quality pads, like ebc or similar. It's less than 1/3rd the price of the big brake kit.
