Bilstein Lower Spring Seat 2007 Expedition

I started to replace some KYB shocks on my EXPY. The Bilstein shock doesnt fit the lower spring seat. In other words, the Bilstein is narrower. Someone on this board had a similar problem back in 2010 and no one replied. I suspect that we are not the only two with the same problem . Any help on identifying the correct spring seat for the bilstein 24-197724 rear shock would be greatly appreciated. I cant find it on the internet and I dont have a car right now!!! Thanks

I just put bilsteins on mine last week. Mine had some cheap-assed quick struts with non-removable spring seats.

I ordered 4 Motorcraft struts from ebay (OEM stuff) and took the seats off to use on the bilsteins. Now I have 4 struts that I don't need and can't return, but at least my ride is on bilsteins.

There's no source barring a junkyard for the spring seats that I know of.
