Okay, this is a really strange one.
I walked out to the Expedition to hit the grocery store and I see a good-sized 10mm bolt and washer laying on the ground underneath the front of the car.
I get down there, looking around, and finally notice the outboard ABS module bracket-to-frame bolt is gone. I keep digging around and see that there's a large slip nut on the frame tab that the bolt had gone into, and the slip nut had fractured on the threaded side. That allowed the bolt to fall out, miraculously, right where I would come to see it. And then I even found a fragment of the slip nut laying on top of the frame rail.
I can't figure out how to get in there with a new nut on the backside to hold a new bolt.
The right side bracket appears to be sound and the module isn't moving around, but it's not hard to imagine something going wrong.
Anybody ever seen this? Any suggestions?

It probably would have. But I got impatient and just used what I had on hand to get on the road. I gathered from looking around Ebay that there was a pretty fat rubber grommet for vibration isolation so I put something similar together.
My imagination had the other side slipnut breaking too if the port side was unsuported.
