I spent my day turning my old stock chrome headlights into awesomeness. From start to finish the project probably took about 6 hours, but the end results speak for themselves.

No turning back now!

200 degrees F for 12 minutes.

Now we're getting somewhere!

If you are interested in doing this and have any questions feel free to ask. Opinions appreciated.

I wet sanded the chrome off with 2000 grit, comes off like nothing. To seal them I just put them back in the oven and then pushed it back together while the glue was hot. I then ran a clear silicone bead around the whole lense. I set sanded the niteshade after 4 coats of clear with 2000 grit, then buffed that with rubbing compound for a nice shine.

Also, I didn't have to paint where the chrome was, I just buffed the black plastic with maguire's and it looks great.

It looks great but wouldn't it be easier to just get limited headlights? Like I said, it looks awesome. I'm just to lazy to do all the work. I would rather spent a few bucks and by them done.

The limited headlights don't have blacked out turn signals.

@FREEWAY: I will take some pictures of them on tomorrow. They are visible during the day.

Here's a pic of the turn signal on half power. (Parking lights turned on)

Dexter you did a great job! I thought you were gonna do halos too? At the end of the month I will be ordering some new headlights, so I can prep them to colormatch them to the body, and add LED halos

Looks fantastic buddy!!!!!

I'll be getting a tint exemption soon. Expect to see some tint updates lol. Right now I have Llumar 5 over 5 all around with 15 on the windshield as well as a 15 inch strip. I'll have to pull off the windshield tint to put the exemption sticker on...so idk what I'll do this time around.
