no, this isn't a thread about my personal indiscretions. :p

I have a 1997 eb expy 4wd. Today, while heading to work, the back end started behaving strangely. after hitting a bump, the rear end gets squirmy and wanted to walk sideways. Its also a really bouncy ride.

any ideas, things to look for? I'm thinking shocks.

The previous owner used air shocks to achieve the lift in the back. I'd like to get some spacers and then some decent shocks all around. Anyone have any good links for spacers?

Thanks!

How do the track bar (panhard bar) bushings look. That's the only thing that locates the axle from side to side.

The upper and lower control arms may also need to be looked at. If the bushings are worn the rear axle can track crooked.

well, yesterday I took a look under there and both of the air jackers are blown out. Today I replaced both with some ranchos and all is good again.

Tomorrow, she gets new tires and I'll make sure to go over the bushings on the trackbar. The swaybar links were fine, but I'll pay closer attention and do a complete inspection.

thanks for the help all!
