Surprisingly enough automobile engineers, including Ford's, have designed brakes that stop our cars just fine. 
Not gonna stop any faster once the wheels lock or ABS takes over. "Drilled and slotted" rotors are essentially jewelry on less than race cars. No denying they look good with red painted calipers.
