Grandson's 1999 Eddie Bauer XLT Expedition with the Big Ass V8.Saturday, we changed pads on brakes, all four wheels and no issues, today I get a cll that in reverse she acts like braes are dragging , seems to jerk or jump a bit, all is well in Drive. I have not had a chance to drive her , but any suggestions as to were we go next?

Check parking brake and make sure it is fully releasing. Also check and make sure the pads are in right. If all good, tranny then

May or may not be related but I had a siezed parking brake cable on the drivers side and the brake seemed to hang up or grab while in reverse.

Brakes Dragginmg in Reverse

Grandson brought the Beast over today and we put her in the air. Took off the left front wheel to look at the caliper and Voila, no upper guide bolt (guess the kid did not tighten her enough) Put a new bolt in and added some locktite (to both guide pins). Grandson drove her away and no phone calls so I guess I get my garage back (until the other shoe falls). Thanks for the response
