No sh**. I guess I wasn't clear enough. 5 200 pound passengers in the Ex. Gear and food and whatever else in the trailer. In any event he is over or pretty much on limits for the combined weight.
But I always like to be able to stop as fast as I go. ymmv

Have you weighed the whole deal fully loaded? With all the passengers and gear and stuff in the trailer. Could be telling.

Not my camper, but campers this size are required to have their own brakes.
