who's calling you a liar? my point is once it is in the well you cant turn it to any sharp angle like you could with a typical swivel

When you insert in into the well how much angle can you put it at??

But if you were to use a spark plug socket a short extension and then a swivel you would be able to get a better angle

When the tool is in thr spark plug well what angle can you place the extension to you are limited to the angle due to the extension being in the well but if a swivel was on top of the extension you would be able to have a larger angle

well if that is how you took it then I am done trying to explain and if you feel your a liar than that is your problem.

Are you trying to tell me that when that tool is in the well you can bend it to a 90 degree angle or even a 45 degree angle or even a 20 degree angle

Never had a problem get #4 torqued
Just used enough short extensions so the top of the extension didn't stick up to high and had a ratchet torque wrench, micrometer style.

Although I will admit It can be a Pain in the a$$ and I wasn't lucky or the first try was more like trial and error until I found the right combination to use

Well..... mine has even less access than standard 5.4. Much more poop in the way. lol

BTW.. do you have any idea where to get the torque wrench (click style) re-calibrated. Have not researched it yet but mine is currently out of calibration. It's craftsman.... do I take it back to sears?? Actually have two.. 1/2" drive.

Yes there are indeed. Many instrumentation shops do it, we use a couple of different palces here at work, one is a hydraulic gauge shop that rebuilds and recalibrates gauges and many other things - like torque wrenches.

I did a quick web search. Most of the articles said it isn't cost effective for a home owner to have the wrench re calibrated since the cost is close too or more than a new torque wrench.
But if you are on the big truck / heavy equipment side where the torque wrench can cost $800-$1000 then it is a different story.
Best to call around locally and see what is being charged.
