CD changer or MP3 to hook up to factory harness?

I have had my new to me 1999 expy EB for about a week. The previous owner yanked the stock 6 disk CD changer after it died to make more room in th console.

Question1: What CD changer should I be looking for? I have the Mach 290W stereo system intact except the missing changer. I have seen Alpine and Clarion changers but don't know which I need.

Question2: Is there an aftermarket unit that will plug in and allow an MP3 or can an MP3 be retrofit with the stock unit?

Not sure what CD changer you need...but I can answer question 2. As far as the aux input goes, you can either replace the whole headunit or you can connect an interface to the factory unit (from PAC or PIE). The interface uses the CD changer inputs and replaces the changer. Let me know if you need more info/help.

I use an isimple from crutchfield for my iPhone and iPod. you can get ones with regular 1/8" jack but the sound quality isn't good. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_541PXDP/Peripheral-iPod-Adapter.html?tp=120 this + vehicle specific harness is what i use. works VERY well!
