CEL, Rough Running Between 40-50MPH

Hi forum, My 2004 5.4 2V Expy Police is hesitant only cruising between 40-50 MPH. Otherwise, it runs great.
I've changed out plugs and coils. I also replaced a rattling left CAT... error codes 0406 and 1406.

Codes related to EGR. Also check for loose/bad vacuum hose/line/elbow

Take a look at the DPFE sensor ( EGR sensor ) there on the driver's side of the throttle body. Inspect the two hoses that connect to it from the exhaust EGR pipe. The hoses can get clogged up and/or dry rot and crack. You can order them from Rock Auto. They also sell them at Advance Auto and several other stores. If the hoses are in good shape it's probably just the DPFE sensor itself gone bad. You can get that from Rock Auto as well.
