I have the same upper tray as Saltwater, and then I purchased a Pelican Trekpack (I believe the kit for the Pelican 1400 is the correct size) so I could set up the lower area how I wanted. I'll see if I have some pics on my phone. I was very happy with the Trekpack mod.

Found it. Pelican 1400. $60 from B&H Photo. I liked it over the OCD base since you can cut the inserts to whatever size compartments you need, and then just adjust them with the pins (the red flags).

I haven't seen that system before. I already have the bottom of my console figured out but I like that for other uses like photography. Pelican makes really good products and this looks like another nice innovation.

Good point! I don't need my wife noticing that the car is better organized than our closet.

You guys just gave me an idea. I’m going to try a custom Kiazen foam insert. Do it for all my tools. Need to order some.

Prototype #1 kaizen foam insert
Red cups come out and there is room for keys,checkbook, wallet. Anything small you don’t want anyone to see. May do one with a hand gun hidden under the second layer. Top bin still can slide back and forth. Still room to add stuff and throw paper work on top until you have time to file it.
