Changed out halogen for LED today

Awesome.

Noticed that all the online things and the owners manual are wrong about the bulbs in my 2020. They say H11 low and 9005 high. But I have 9005 low and h9 highs. Kind of a pain because 9005s (HB3) are usually used for high beam positions.

Yes the manual is incorrect. The correct light information is molded into the lower lens of each light housing (fogs included).

I decided to try the Philips HIR 9011 bulbs (requires tab trimming) for the lows first. Also some LED 3000k bulbs for the lows. I looked at the fog lens and found no bulb spec, but I did find it for the highs and lows.

The only 4500k leds I found were the DDM Sabers, and they are a bit spendy. I do NOT want 6000-6500k leds as they disappear in bad weather. If I could run 3000k yellow low beams I would, like the selective yellow that was used in Europe. These old eyes saw great with that color.

Going with an HID kit where 3k temp colors are possible may be a better option for improved lighting and the color temp you prefer.
