Hello!

I'm planning to buy a set of rims for my 2007 expedition, looking at the 18 inch ones they all look ugly so I thought I'd go for 20 inch. The thing is I don't want to loose the off-road ability due to bigger rims and thinner tire, in other words I can't lower the tire pressure much with such rims and tires.

The current tire size I have is 255/70/R18.

Is there any tires with the same size which would fit on 20"s and fit on the expedition?
I couldn't find ones my self unfortunately.

Suggestions are welcomed!

One more question!

Would the tire sensors be effected if I change the rims? I don't know where they are installed exactly and I'm afraid the people at the tire shop would ruin them.

If you want to stick to an off road tire, 18's are probably the way to go to keep a decent side wall. If it is for occasional off road use, possibly 20's with a 60 or 65 series sidewall would work. The 65 series may be taller than a stock tire, but maybe not too much.
I am hoping these will be on my Expy this summer. Won't be that bright or take up that much of the wheel well, but they are the 22" Harley F-150 rims. Strictly a summer "on-road" tire though.

I HAVE THE F150 LARIAT 20"S ON MINE WITH A 275/55/20 AND I HAUL BOTH MY FOUR WHEELERS DOWN A BUMPY DIRT ROAD THAT IS ABOUT A MILE LONG. REGARDLESS IF IF IS DRY OR MUDDY AND THEY WORK GREAT.
