I'm getting a loud clicking sound coming from my rear driver side heater core/condenser area in the cab (above wheel well). I've seen this question asked before through a google search but to no avail. This sound only lasts a few minutes but damn is it annoying. Bad core? Condenser? thanks guys

How fast does it click? There are two things that will generate that sound. One is the fan motor the other is the blend door actuator.

The click is in rhythm and stays consistent through it's cycle. It is about a click every second and gets a little louder as the car warms up (it's about 15 degrees in the morning here in Michigan).

If it is the blend door, you may be able to adjust the rear temp setting and have the clicking stop. Another possibility is to remove the cover and disconnect the wire harness at the blend door actuator.
