I have an 06 EB. I will be going on the road with my family witha trailer. I havent seen many coil to air conversions. Is there a reason why? I woukd like to convert to air if I can and can the computer monitor it? Pros and cons please.

Hi mike nadeau, I really haven't heard many who want to convert from coil spring to air ride. It's mostly everyone converting from air ride to coil spring. I think the reasoning is the leaking air lift problems. There are also sensors that control the inflate and deflate that go bad, compressor problems. I think cost would deter a lot of us too. If your planning on towing then how about overload shocks? Those are the ones with springs on them. Not sure what years they make them for but would keep your truck level I'm sure and you wouldn't have to worry about electrical failures or leaking air ride. Just my two sense lol
