Think my compressor is dying or could it just be something else?

Gauges looked normal for 83F outside, but getting 70ish from the vents.
Hissing in the rear ac area.

After tinkering with my drawing for 20min or so, now my low is 110+ high is 120 ish.
It's been idling the whole time.

I took infared temps and maybe my scribbles mean something to you or not.

00 5.4 with rear ac and rear controls.

Yes, compressor is spinning the whole time.

If i turn rear AC off, only run front I can get it to cycle off/on

First readings were 28/150 83F outside, running idle, hot engine

after 20-30min sitting the readings were 100/125

well I think the compressor is toast now.
just went to recheck it, after sitting all night, first connect gauges, engine still off, I'm at about 90/90.
Turn it on, front AC only, 120/120-130ish
when compressor kicks in, low pegs high, high goes from 100 to 125ish

could be a bad compressor. Try rotating the compressor hub by hand (engine off of course) and see if you feel any resistance.

If not probably a bad compressor. But really hard to say for sure over the internet

Your pressure readings tell the story. Bad valves in the compressor, high side is leaking into the low side. Don't waste your money on a rebuilt comp. Replace the oriface tube, drier and txv while the system is down.
If there is any crap in the oriface tube then it is a roll of the dice on the rest of the components. The little metal particles will embedd in the hose liner and usually release at a later date taking your new components out.
I would evacuate the system and check the oriface tube first. That way you know how the rest of the system is.
