I am wondering everyone's opinion on whether the dealer will warranty this amount of moisture in the CHMSL (image attached). The part is not super expensive, but I have read mixed reviews on what various dealers/Ford consider to be normal or acceptable levels of condensation in light modules.

Also, is this a common issue on the 4th gen Expeditions?

Definitely not normal and if you leave it will most likely lead to failure. This seems to be an issue for ford. We are lucky in that it is attached to the wing and not the roof. This happened on my Raptor and water was getting inside the cab which turned to mold.

Fun you mention failure, I have not actually looked to see if its 100% functional still. I should probably do that.

Exact same thing happened to mine. I brought it in and they took pictures to submit to Ford. I really don't understand that as it clearly is defective. In my case not only did I have severe condensation but also a few LEDs were burnt out. They agreed to replace it and it works fine since. I think it's a decent size job as they got to remove the spoiler and tailgate etc to get to the part iirc.
